Hydro Fert suggests a specific fertilization plan for cherry trees with products containing seaweeds
Cherry is a fruit appreciated all over the world for its beauty and flavor, with annual increases in new plantings and production volumes.
It is a species with high chilling requirements, specific nutritional needs during flowering and fruit growth, sensitivity to water stagnations and susceptibility to cracking phenomena during ripening. That being said, it is clear that farmers need products suitable for achieving optimal results from cherry cultivation, overcoming the above-mentioned issues.
A possible answer to such need is represented by fertilizers based on seaweeds, which, in recent years, have played a fundamental role for agriculture. These formulations not only provide nutrients, but also show a biostimulant effect thanks to the bioactive substances inside.
Depending on their species, seaweeds used in agriculture provide various benefits to crops. In details:

- higher resistance against abiotic stress
- contrast to micro-deficiencies
- strengthened enzymes activity against oxidative stress
- improved root development and resistance against drought

Therefore, the use of seaweeds extracts in fertilizers permits to increase production in a sustainable way, thus preserving natural resources and reducing the negative impact on environment.
Hydro Fert suggests a specific fertilization plan for cherry trees to obtain high-quality products, also taking advantage of the use of products containing seaweeds, such as:
- Alga Mix: 100% based on seaweeds (Ascophyllum nodosum), also containing natural PGR (plant growth regulators), enzymes, proteins, vitamins, amino acids and polysaccharides. When used in pre-flowering, the product is apt to increase stress resistance and auxins biosynthesis, helping the plant to achieve a more uniform flowering and fruit setting.
- Vigor L Rapido: 100% of plant origin, manufactured at low temperature and without chemical solvents, based on seaweeds (Sargassum, Laminaria). The product used in flowering increases the embryo sac vitality and reduces stress.
- Gran Foliar (line): a totally water-soluble microcrystalline line of fertilizers, with high and balanced concentration of NPK, also containing seaweeds (Sargassum, Laminaria), suitable for an application throughout the entire agricultural cycle to obtain a complete plant nutrition.
